Donges' Drive-In was built in 1967. Five years later in 1972, the motel was added to the property. Today, the restaurant is owned by a third generation family member. The restaurant is noted for its good company and friendly staff. Owner, Melissa Friend says, "Our biggest compliment is when someone says it feels like they are in their own kitchen when they are here." She prides herself in the relaxed atmosphere of the establishment. Customers are often heard saying that they don't mind coming into the restaurant alone because they can always count on a friendly face to be here, whether it be a customer or staff member.
